The monastery

A place of practice, simple and quiet

Metta Vipassana Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in Bilpin, NSW, where the monastics practise each day and where everyone is welcome to come and sit, learn meditation, and listen to the Dhamma.

Our primary practice is Mettā, loving-kindness meditation. We do not leave the world behind; we learn to walk through it with a lighter heart.
